I wrote several weeks ago about my appearance on The Global Current. Days before the election I was on again, along with representatives of the College Democrats, College Republicans, and Young Socialists. For those of you that missed that live roundtable, here's the video footage:



Overall I thought it went pretty well, although I think it could have been a bit more lightly moderated so there was more interaction. It also didn't help that there were four of us and only a half hour for the show.

As president of Seton Hall University Students for Individual Liberty (SHUSIL) I've decided to try and do more to promote what we're doing on campus. In particular I'm interested in trying to spread it out on the web so we can hopefully have an impact beyond Seton Hall.

Obviously a key part of this is video footage from events. There's several events we have or will be getting footage from soon that I'm eager to put up, especially the Drinking Age Debate we held.

Right here though is the video from the Student Political Forum hosted by the Undergraduate Diplomacy Students Association and several other groups affiliated with Seton Hall's Whitehead School of Diplomacy.

It is over for us.
No matter who won this election, lovers of freedom were doomed. However, tonight was the worst of all possible outcomes. Not only has a socialist won the Presidency, it appears the Dems will hold enough of a majority in Congress to do whatever they want.
If you have a love of freedom as I do, I pity you, for you understand the long haul we have ahead of us. It is important that we do not give up, we must fight more than ever. It is time for those of us who would do anything for freedom, instead of giving up in light of this result, the fight must go harder. Now is when our future will be determined; if we give in now to the forces of government oppression, all is lost. I call on you, lovers of freedom to be more determined than ever to fight for the same rights that the founders of this nation believed.
